(Return to Andre Kristopans Index Page)

From about 1998 to October 2013, Andre Kristopans maintained a personal web site where he had compiled the serial numbers and other builder data for buses, as well as General Motors locomotives.

The web site was hosted by the free WebTV service (MSN TV after 2001), which Microsoft shut down effective October 1, 2013.

The following series of web pages have been assembled from three different sources: 1) files obtained from Andre via email during September and October 2014; 2) files harvested from the Internet Archives Wayback Machine; and 3) pages harvested from a group of pages at Angelfire.com.

Pace has two categories of cutaways. The ones shown as "Paratransit" are mostly used in dial-a-ride service, more often than not requiring pre-qualification and advance reservations, while the "Community" ones are usually used on some sort of village or town operated "semi-public" route, such as one that runs a couple of times a week to take seniors shopping or one that takes Chicago State University students to and from the CTA's 95th Street L station. There are exceptions, as some of both have ended up being used on minimal general-service routes. (Andre Kristopans, email dated February 9, 2017)
