Amfleet I

Amfleet I cars were delivered in October 1975 through 1978; total fleet of 492 cars (406 coaches and 86 cafes); ordered on October 12, 1973.

Superliner cars were delivered in October 1978 through June 1981; a total fleet of 284 cars; ordered on April 2, 1975.

Viewliner

Viewliner cars were delivered 1995 and 1996; a total fleet of 50 sleeper cars (AMTK 62000-62049), plus three prototypes built by Budd.

Order placed with Morrison Knudsen Transit Group, to be built at Hornell, New York (first opened by MK in 1993); MK went into bankruptcy in October 1995; order transferred to Amerail (American Passenger Railcar Company LLC) for completion (Amerail was specifically created as a temporary company to complete MK contracts); assets and interests of Amerail sold to GEC Alsthom in August 1997.

The first Viewliners entered service in mid April 1996.

50 cars in service as of February 2011.
