Scanned Maps and Drawings -- A collection of scanned maps and schematic drawings produced in the 1906 to 1972 time period, showing railroad trackage, facilities and structures for railroads in the State of Utah.

Central Pacific (SP) Promontory Line, North from Ogden -- A Google Map showing the route of the former Central Pacific 1869 mainline north from Ogden north to Corinne Junction, where it was joined in 1903 by the UP-OSL Malad Branch.

Central Utah Rail Project -- A Google Map that shows the major points along the route of the planned Central Utah Rail Project (also known as the Six County Rail Line) to provide lower transportation costs to coal mines in central Utah. (Read more about the Central Utah (Six County) Rail Project)

Coalville Coal Mines -- A Google Map of the Grass Creek Branch and the Weber Mine Spur, to serve the coal mines near Coalville.

Colorado Central, Julesburg Branch -- A Google Map of UP's Julesburg Branch, built by the Colorado Central Railroad in 1881. (Read more about Colorado Central Railroad)

Crescent Tramway -- A Google Map of the Crescent Mining Company's tramway at Park City, the home of the first Shay locomotive in Utah; traced from 1903 USGS Park City Special map. (Read more about the Crescent Tramway)

D&RGW/RGW Abandoned Grades -- A Google Map showing the three abandoned grades in eastern Utah:

D&RGW Bennett Branch -- A Google Map of the Bennett Branch in north Davis County, built to serve the sugar beet growing area surrounding the Layton Sugar company's sugar plant. D&RGW Cane Creek Subdivision (Moab) -- A Google map of the Cane Creek Branch, built by D&RGW in 1961; still operated by UP.

D&RGW Castle Valley Branch (Salina) -- A Google map of the Castle Valley Railway and the later D&RGW Castle Valley Branch in Salina canyon, Utah. Built in 1903; dormant 1904-1921; abandoned in 1942. (Read more about the Castle Valley Branch)

D&RGW Lake Park Spur (Farmington) -- A Google Map of the D&RGW spur in Farmington, built in 1886 to serve the Lake Park Resort; the buildings were moved to in 1896 to create the Lagoon Resort; the spur was abandoned in 1925. (Read more about the Lake Side Resort at Farmington, Utah)

D&RGW Lark Branch -- A Google map of the D&RGW Lark Branch, built in 1903 as the Dalton & Lark Branch; partially changed in 1955 to serve the new Bingham-Lark tunnel.

D&RGW Marysvale Branch -- A Google Map of D&RGW's Marysvale Branch, built in 1891 and abandoned in 1984.

D&RGW Park City Branch -- A Google Map of the rail lines in and around Park City, Utah; includes locations of the major mines, drain tunnel, and aerial tramways. (Read more about D&RGW's Park City Branch)

D&RGW Potter's Quarry Spur -- A Google Map of D&RGW's Potter's Quarry Spur, from Kyune east to the quarry. Initial construction was three miles to Jennings Quarry in 1892; extended to 4.97 miles to Potters Quarry in 1900; removed in 1917. Kyune was first called Jennings Junction, changed to Kyune before 1900.

D&RGW Provo Canyon Branch -- A Google Map of D&RGW's branch from Provo to Heber City, by way of Provo Canyon, built in 1897 and abandoned in 1968; northern portion became Heber Creeper tourist railroad in 1971, and today is the Heber Valley Railroad. D&RGW Spring Canyon Branch -- A Google Map of D&RGW's Spring Canyon Branch, west of Helper; also shows Utah Railway Spring Canyon Branch and coal mines.

D&RGW Thistle -- A Google Map of Thistle, showing the old line and the new line after the 1983 flood.

Garfield Railroads -- A Google Map of the railroads between Salt Lake City's west side, and Garfield, where the large smelter was located.
